Shane Molinaro · Est. Practice 1995
Integrated, grounded, somatic masculinity. Taught the way the old masters taught it. Thirty years of practice, in three days on South Beach.
Three Days · South Beach, Miami · Ten students · [Dates]
“David Deida taught a generation of men how to show up in their relationships. Shane Molinaro teaches them how to show up in their bodies.”
The Premise
Most men your age are missing all three. The body that can act under pressure. The body that can give and receive care. The body that can root, settle, and last.
The traditional martial arts knew these three weren't separate. The fighter who couldn't heal was incomplete. The healer who couldn't fight was vulnerable. The man who had no internal practice burned out before he got old. The old masters trained all three because they understood this.
Shane Molinaro has trained all three for thirty years. Filipino martial arts on the combat side. Traditional Chinese bodywork and partner massage on the connection side. Tai chi and qigong on the cultivation side. The same body, the same lineage of attention, three faces of one practice.
This long weekend is the integrated version. The whole thing in three days, in South Beach. The way he wishes someone had taught it to him at thirty.
Three Faces · One Practice

Cultivation
The body that roots and lasts.

Combat
The body that acts under pressure.

Connection
The body that gives and receives care.
Three faces of one practice. Trained from the same body. Taught from the inside.
The Offer
Each day follows the same rhythm: cultivation in the morning, combat at midday, connection in the afternoon. Friday through Sunday.
Day One · Friday
Morning
Yoga for the male body. Mobility, breath, and structure work built for older bodies. The opening that makes everything else possible.
Midday
Panantukan — dirty boxing. Empty-hand foundations from the FMA tradition. Footwork, distance, structure, and angles for moving under pressure.
Afternoon
Western massage fundamentals. Effleurage, petrissage, pressure, and pacing. How to actually help a tight back, neck, or shoulder.
Day Two · Saturday
Morning
Qigong — standing and the first form. Standing meditation and the first moving form. The breath that grounds everything else.
Midday
Escrima — single stick. The weapon as teacher. What the stick shows you about timing, line, and intent that empty hands can't.
Afternoon
Asian massage. Reading tension in another body. Working with energy lines, not just muscle.
Day Three · Sunday
Morning
Tai chi short form. Slow movement that reveals what fast movement hides. Structure, balance, and internal timing you can feel immediately.
Midday
Kali — blade awareness and flow. Double stick into edged-weapon awareness, defense, and flow drills. Trained slowly and seriously, the way it should be.
Afternoon
Tui Na. Traditional Chinese bodywork techniques to close the weekend with grounded hands, sensitivity, and a practice you can take home.
Who This Is For
This weekend is for the man who used to train something and stopped. The man whose marriage has gone quiet and who knows touch is part of why. The man who works out but feels disconnected from his own body. The man who's curious about traditional practices but doesn't want the soft yoga-class version. The man tired of the gym-bro fitness scene and ready for something with depth. The man who understands that real martial arts include the healing and internal sides, not just the fighting. The man willing to show up and do the work over a weekend and take a real practice home.
This is not for the casual shopper, the spectator, the man looking for a certificate or a quick fix. There are no certifications here. There's only the practice.

About Shane
Shane Molinaro has been training martial arts for thirty years. He came up in the Filipino martial arts tradition — kali, escrima, panantukan — and trained the healing and internal sides alongside, the way the older masters taught it. Tai chi, qigong, traditional Chinese bodywork.
He's been teaching privately for years, mostly to friends and serious students who found him through word of mouth. He doesn't have a certification track. He doesn't run a chain of schools. He's not interested in a brand. He's interested in students who want what he has and are willing to show up and do the work.
This weekend is the integrated version of his practice — the whole thing in three days, the way he wishes someone had taught it to him at thirty.

For Those Who Can't Make It In Person

We'll email you when it's available. No charge until you decide to buy.

Combat without connection is brittle. Connection without combat is soft. Both without cultivation burn out by fifty.
The integrated practice is older than any of the modern versions. It's also rarer. This weekend is what's left of it, taught by a man who's lived all three together as a seamless flow state for thirty years.
Coming Soon · With Alejandra
Three days for couples who want to meet each other on a level they didn't know was available.
Taught Together
Shane and his partner Alejandra have trained the whole practice — cultivation, combat, connection — side by side for decades. She is an excellent teacher in her own right. This retreat is the work they live together, opened up to ten couples.
Who It's For

Questions
Three days, nine disciplines, ten students, thirty years of lineage. Comparable men's intensives in Miami run $2,500–$3,500 for less material and a bigger room. You're paying for hands on you from a teacher who's lived all three faces of the practice — not a generic retreat.
No. Every session is built so a complete beginner can follow it on day one and a thirty-year practitioner still finds depth in it. Shane teaches the foundations the way he wishes someone had taught them to him.
It's built for older bodies. The cultivation sessions open you up, the combat work is trained slowly and intelligently, and the bodywork closes you down. You'll work hard. You won't get hurt.
Get on the video waitlist. The whole weekend is filmed and released about a month later for $497, with lifetime access. In-person students get the video included.
Yes. Two payments of $1,050, the second charged thirty days after the first. Both must clear before the weekend.
Full refund up to 30 days before the weekend. Inside 30 days, your seat transfers to the video version (the $1,500 difference becomes a credit toward a future live weekend).
Walking distance to the ocean, Lincoln Road, and Ocean Drive. Exact address and a list of recommended hotels go out on registration.
Lunch is included all three days. Lodging is on you — we send a curated list of hotels within walking distance at every price point.
Ten. That's the cap. It's the number where Shane can put hands on every student in every session. We'd rather close registration than break that.
This particular weekend is framed for the male body and the integrated male practice. But Shane and his partner Alejandra — herself an excellent teacher who has trained alongside him across all three disciplines for decades — are also announcing a three-day couples' retreat soon. Same lineage, same depth, built to help couples connect on a level they didn't think was possible. Get on the email list to hear about it first.
